NBE notifies on validity of Provisional Pass Certificates issued to qualified DNB, DrNB, FNB candidates
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has notified about the validity of Provisional Pass Certificates issued to qualified DNB, DrNB and FNB candidates.
All the concerned candidates are requested to take note of the following details as published in the NBE notice:
Final Examinations | Examination Session |
DNB Final Examination | June 2019, Dec 2019, June 2020 |
DrNB Final Examination | June 2019, Dec 2019, June 2020 |
FNB Exit Examination | 2019 and 2020 |
The Provisional Pass Certificates issued to qualified candidates of above mentioned sessions of final examinations shall be valid for all purposes, including but not limited to, registration with state medical councils and employment, till such time the final degree certificates are conferred upon the concerned candidates in the next convocation.

Earlier, the NBE had issued a fresh advisory for Final Year DNB, DrNB and FNB trainees with respect to the continuance of their services as resident doctors.
The NBE has clarified that all Final Year trainees of the below-mentioned batches shall continue to discharge the duties in this time of National exigency as may be prescribed by their hospitals, for the period as follows:

DNB Broad Specialty (Post MBBS) | 2018 |
DrNB Super Specialty | 2018 |
DNB Broad Specialty (Post Diploma) | 2019 |
FNB | 2019 |
b. DrNB Super Specialty trainees, till fresh batches of DrNB Super Specialty trainees for 2021 admission session have joined at respective hospitals or counseling for NEET-SS 2021 is concluded, whichever is earlier.
c. FNB trainees, till fresh batches of FNB trainees for 2021 admission session have joined at respective hospitals or counseling for FET 2021 is concluded, whichever is earlier.
3. The NBE Accredited hospitals are required to pay the stipend to the trainees as per the stipend guidelines of NBE
