NBE warns against spoofed website duping candidates

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi, has issued a public alert warning candidates and stakeholders about a spoofed website defrauding individuals in the name of NBE.
Issuing a notice in this regard, the NBE stated that it has come to the notice of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, New Delhi [NBEMS] that certain unknown and unauthorised persons/groups have created and are operating a fraudulent/spoofed website with a domain name that closely resembles the official website of our organisation.
The said fraudulent website appears to use a similar domain name and layout in an apparent attempt to mislead the public, stakeholders, applicants, vendors, and other users into believing that it is associated with or endorsed by NBEMS.
NBEMS categorically clarify the following:
1. The only official website of the organisation is: https://natboard.edu.in
2. The spoofed website https://natboard.online/ is not owned, operated, or authorized by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
3. The organisation does not take any responsibility or liability for any information, transactions, payments, or communications made through the fraudulent website.
4. Members of the public, stakeholders, candidates, vendors, and partners are strongly advised:
• Not to rely on any information provided on the spoofed website.
• Not to share any personal, financial, or confidential information on such websites.
• Not to make any payments or submit applications through any website other than the official website mentioned above.
5. Appropriate legal action is being initiated with the concerned authorities, including cybercrime authorities and domain registrars, against the persons responsible for creating and operating the fraudulent website.
The public is advised to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of any website before engaging in any transaction or communication related to NBEMS.
For authentic information, please visit the official website only or contact the organisation through its officially published contact details.
