CARPL.ai Raises USD 10 Million in Series A Funding Led by IFC
New Delhi: CARPL.ai, a radiology artificial intelligence (AI) marketplace and enterprise platform, has raised USD 10 million in a Series A funding round led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. Existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners and other investors also participated in the round.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate the adoption of AI in healthcare by expanding CARPL.ai's product capabilities, strengthening its global partner ecosystem, and supporting commercial growth across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and emerging markets.
Founded in 2021, CARPL.ai provides healthcare organisations with access to more than 300 radiology AI applications from over 100 AI partners through a single integrated platform. The company enables hospitals and radiology groups to build, test, deploy and monitor AI applications while remaining vendor-neutral and infrastructure-agnostic.
The platform is currently used by several leading healthcare organisations worldwide, including four of the world's five largest private radiology groups. It also supports AI adoption in healthcare systems across countries including India, Brazil, Singapore, Spain and the UAE.
Medical imaging accounts for more than 80% of healthcare data, while demand for imaging services continues to outpace the availability of radiologists. Although over 1,000 FDA-cleared radiology AI applications are available globally, adoption has remained fragmented due to the complexity of integrating and managing multiple standalone AI solutions. CARPL.ai aims to address this challenge by providing a unified platform for AI deployment and governance.
Commenting on the funding, Dr. Vidur Mahajan, Chief Executive Officer of CARPL.ai, said the company has built the world's largest radiology AI marketplace and established partnerships with leading enterprise PACS providers. He added that the investment would support the company's global expansion and help healthcare providers adopt AI technologies more efficiently.
Dr. Mahajan also said CARPL.ai plans to expand beyond radiology into pathology, genomics and general medicine, with the long-term goal of becoming the integration and deployment platform for clinical AI across healthcare.

He said IFC's investment reflects its commitment to supporting digital health innovation and strengthening healthcare ecosystems in emerging markets.
Alok Goyal, Partner at Stellaris Venture Partners, said the investment reflects CARPL.ai's strong execution, growing partnerships with leading healthcare institutions and PACS providers, and its progress in enabling AI-powered clinical workflows across global healthcare systems.
