BFUHS Recruitment 2026: 454 Pharmacist Posts Up for Grabs in Punjab Health Department, Apply Till July 1

New Delhi: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has invited online applications for the recruitment of 454 Pharmacist (Pharmacy Officer) posts under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the university's recruitment portal. The application process commenced on June 11 and will continue until July 1, 2026.
The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 454 vacancies across different categories. Candidates seeking to apply are required to ensure that they fulfill all eligibility criteria prescribed in the official notification before submitting their applications.
As per the eligibility requirements, applicants must possess a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized university or institution. Candidates with a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized board or university are also eligible. Additionally, applicants must be registered with the Punjab Pharmacy Council and should have passed Punjabi at the Matriculation level or an equivalent examination.
The prescribed age limit for candidates is 18 to 37 years. However, age relaxation benefits will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories in accordance with Punjab Government regulations.
The selection process will include a written examination. A merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured by candidates in the examination along with applicable experience marks as per the recruitment guidelines issued by the authorities.
Selected candidates will be appointed as Pharmacy Officers and will receive salary and other benefits in accordance with the applicable government pay scale. The recruitment offers an opportunity for qualified pharmacy professionals to join the public healthcare system in Punjab.
The Times of India reports that candidates are advised to carefully review the detailed recruitment notification and application guidelines before completing the registration process to avoid any errors during submission.
