New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced Pharmacist recruitment under the Selection Post Phase XIV Examination 2026, offering multiple vacancies across regions including posts such as Pharmacist (Allopathic), Ayurvedic Pharmacist, Pharmacist-cum-Clerk, and Junior Pharmacist, as part of a larger drive to fill 3003 vacancies across various categories, with applications invited online and candidates required to apply before the prescribed deadline.
The recruitment is part of SSC’s Phase XIV Selection Posts, which include opportunities for candidates with 10th, 12th, and graduate-level qualifications across different regions such as Northern, Central, Eastern, Western, and North Eastern zones.
For pharmacy-related roles, a significant number of vacancies have been notified particularly in the Madhya Pradesh Region (MPR), which alone accounts for 749 posts. These include 68 posts for Pharmacist (Allopathic), 38 for Ayurvedic Pharmacist, 10 for Pharmacist-cum-Clerk (Homoeopathic), additional Pharmacist-cum-Clerk roles, and one post for Junior Pharmacist, along with other healthcare-related positions such as nursing officers and technicians.
Candidates applying for pharmacist posts are required to possess relevant qualifications such as Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) from a recognised institution, along with registration under the Pharmacy Council, as per eligibility norms.
