Cadila Pharma appoints Dhirendra S as Assistant Vice President - (MENA Region)
Ahmedabad: Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited has appointed Dhirendra S. as Assistant Vice President - (MENA Region).
He also extended his gratitude to the organizations and mentors who supported his professional journey.
Acknowledging his educational background, Dhirendra expressed appreciation to the institutions that shaped his leadership skills, namely the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, and the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). He credited them for enhancing his strategic vision and leadership abilities, empowering him for this new role.
He also paid tribute to his family, saying, "I am deeply grateful to my wife, Dr.Priti Sharma for her unwavering support and encouragement throughout this journey. Your belief in me has been a constant source of strength."
A seasoned business leader, Dhirendra brings nearly 2 decades of progressive experience in pharmaceutical sales & management across the UAE & India.
He began his career in 2006 with Cipla as Territory Development Manager.
In 2010, he transitioned to Pharmalink Drug Store as National Key Account Manager U.A.E. In between, he was also a part of SRL Diagnostics. Most recently, he spent over 12 years at NeoBiocon, rising from Assistant Business Manager to Business Manager.
His strengths include geo-expansion, Alliance/Distributor management, contract negotiations, channel optimization, and executing large-scale product launches. He has an extensive knowledge of the GCC, MENA, and Indian markets.
Dhirendra educational journey includes a degree from Mumbai University, a master’s from Cardiff University, & another from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Additionally, he hold a Level 11 Post Graduate Diploma from the Scottish Qualification Authority & a certification from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). He is also a member of the Bar Council of India.
