Delhi Police Bust Rs 100-Crore Methamphetamine Cartel, Drug Kitchen, 4 Foreign Nationals Arrested
New Delhi: Acting on sustained surveillance and specific intelligence, the Delhi Police Special Cell has dismantled an international drug cartel, arresting four foreign nationals, three Nigerians and one Ivorian, and recovering Rs 100 crore worth of methamphetamine along with a fully equipped makeshift drug-processing unit.
The crackdown led to the seizure of over 20 kg of meth, 700 tablets, and several chemicals used for manufacturing the narcotic.
According to DCP (Special Cell) Alaap Patel, the operation’s first breakthrough came on November 1 when a woman identified as Ella was intercepted around midnight while travelling in an auto-rickshaw. She was carrying a red trolley bag loaded with more than 17 kg of methamphetamine and 700 tablets. Four days later, on November 5, police arrested Nwatayanachidinama Amorka, alias Amorka, from Dipak Vihar in Chander Vihar with 3 kg of meth. His interrogation led investigators to a premises in Tek Chand Colony, Nilothi Extension, where they uncovered a functioning “drug kitchen” stocked with calcium chloride, methanol, solvents and other chemicals.
On November 6, police apprehended Chinoye Emmanuel for assisting Amorka in setting up the illicit lab. Investigators found that Ella acted as the cartel’s courier, collecting consignments from Janakpuri, Vikaspuri and Uttam Nagar before travelling long distances by train to supply clients in Bengaluru and Mumbai. The cartel was being directed by alleged kingpin Diarra Idriss, better known as Sir White Money, who had given Ella an advance of ₹30,000 during her April 2025 trip. He managed drug sales, collected cash and sent proceeds to Nigeria through hawala channels.
As per The Indian Express report, the syndicate relied heavily on courier-based movement to avoid detection and had been operating for several months. Police are now tracing the wider financial and logistical network linked to the group.
