ENTOD Pharma launches dermatological venture in India
Mumbai: ENTOD Pharmaceuticals has recently launched its dermatological venture in India in collaboration with its UK sister concern ENTOD Beauty London Ltd.
ENTOD Beauty London products will now be sold in India through Entod Pharmaceuticals nationwide sales field representative & distributor networks. The UK developed products will be manufactured in India under the Make in India Initiative and through a technology transfer arrangement between the two companies.
"Due to the massive success of our skincare products in the UK and across Europe, we are confident that the Indian initiative will also follow the same trajectory. The products intended for India have been specially designed for Indian skin types after detailed consultations with Indian dermatologists and skincare experts. A successful Indian venture will also allow us to build a better global brand presence and keep innovating in the medical & cosmetic dermatology segments" said Dana Grossman, General Manager of ENTOD Beauty London Ltd.
"The launch of our Entod Beauty Londonderma division in India is an exciting time for the ENTOD International Group as it allows us to further cement our position in speciality healthcare in India and at the same time push these innovative skincare therapies to South-East Asia, Africa and other emerging markets. The Government of India's Make in India initiative has inspired us to bring some of the world's best skincare treatments to India and give Indian patients more choices for their skincare. Entod Beauty London products will bridge the gaps in medical and cosmetic skin care in India, and also pave the way for more Indian skin-centred products. We are also excited to bring world-renowned skincare brands such as Lashfactor and Vasuki to our country and engage in further skincare research here through collaborations with Indian dermatologists" said Mr Nikkhil K Masurkar, Executive Director, ENTOD Pharmaceuticals.
