Eris Lifesciences Appoints Akhil Awasthi as Independent Director for 5 Years
Ahmedabad: Eris Lifesciences Limited has appointed Akhil Awasthi as an Additional Director (Non-executive, Independent) of the company for a term of five years, effective from September 26, 2026, subject to approval of the members.
The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee through a Circular Resolution dated September 21, 2026.
Awasthi, holding Director Identification Number (DIN) 00148350, has been appointed in accordance with Regulation 30 read with Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended. His appointment as an Additional Director in the Non-executive, Independent category is for a period of five years beginning September 26, 2026, subject to approval by the members of the company.
Akhil Awasthi is a seasoned investment professional with over three decades of experience spanning private equity, investment management, healthcare and lifesciences, business transformation and corporate governance. During his professional career, he has held senior positions including Founding Managing Partner and Investment Committee Member of Tata Capital Growth Fund and Partner at Baring Private Equity Partners (India) Ltd. His experience includes investments, strategic value creation and board-level governance.
Eris Lifesciences has stated that Akhil Awasthi is not related to any Director of the company. The company has also confirmed that he is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any order of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) or any other such authority.
