Pharma Company manager arrested for supplying banned drugs
Pathankot: A manager associated with a pharmaceutical firm has been arrested for supplying banned drugs/intoxicants on fake bills with investigation into the extent of the illegal drug trade being underway.
The Tribune has reported that the manager of a pharmaceutical firm in Katra Sher Singh area, Amritsar, has been arrested for allegedly supplying banned drugs on fake bills. The manager, Rajesh Kumar Khanna, was found to possess several fake bills, indicating his involvement in the illegal practice for the past few years. The police are conducting further investigations and expect more individuals to be implicated in the case.
During the investigation, it was discovered that the manager had supplied drugs on fake bills to traders in the border districts of Tarn Taran, Batala, Gurdaspur, and Pathankot. The police are currently determining the extent of the illegal drug supply and are also looking into the manager's connections with a prominent pharma company in Amritsar.

The arrest comes after the police had initially received information about a pharmaceutical firm employee, Kirpal Singh, who was involved in the illegal drug trade.
