Serum Institute, Vidal Health Partner for Digital Cashless HPV Vaccination Programme
New Delhi: HPV vaccination in India is set for a major digital transformation as Vidal Health, a subsidiary of Bajaj Finserv Health, has partnered with the Serum Institute of India (SII) to roll out an end-to-end, cashless vaccination programme from October 1, 2025.
Unlike traditional vaccination drives, this initiative promises a completely digital journey — right from booking appointments and securing consent to receiving vaccination certificates, reminders for subsequent doses, and compliance tracking. The aim is to eliminate paperwork and bring seamless access to preventive healthcare.
Through this partnership, the HPV vaccine manufactured by Serum Institute will be made directly available on Vidal’s platform, ensuring faster delivery without middlemen. Corporates too can leverage the system by arranging workplace vaccination drives or collaborating with local clinics through the same platform.
According to a recent media report in the Economic Times, the programme will also integrate with national digital health systems like Aarogya Setu, creating a robust ecosystem that links healthcare providers, vaccine manufacturers, and digital platforms. By bridging these gaps, the initiative seeks to boost HPV vaccine adoption in India and strengthen cervical cancer prevention efforts.
Industry experts believe this model could serve as a template for digital vaccination programmes in other disease areas, making immunization more accessible, traceable, and user-friendly across the country.
