Shilpa Medicare's Jadcherla Unit Gets GMP Certification from Austria's AGES for Europe, Global Markets
Raichur: Shilpa Medicare Limited's Unit 4 located in Jadcherla, Telangana, has received Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification from AGES, Austria, following a successful inspection conducted at the facility in July 2026.
The company informed the exchanges that its Jadcherla facility was inspected by AGES, Austria, from July 27 to July 30, 2026. Following the successful completion of the inspection, the regulatory authority issued GMP certification to the unit.
Shilpa Medicare said Unit 4 is involved in the manufacturing, testing and distribution of sterile injections and non-sterile tablets and capsules. The finished dosage forms manufactured at the facility are intended for markets in Europe as well as other global markets.
The GMP certification follows the regulatory inspection of the facility and covers the unit’s manufacturing operations relevant to its finished dosage forms. The certification reflects the successful outcome of the inspection conducted by the Austrian regulatory authority.
