Venus Remedies gets GMP certification from Moldova Ministry of Health for antibiotic-carbapenern facility
New Delhi: Venus Remedies Limited has received Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification from the Ministry of Health of Moldova for its antibiotic-carbapenern facility.
"With this certification, we are now welt-positioned to further extend our presence in the Eastern European market, ensuring access to high-quality, effective, and reliable antibiotics for healthcare providers and patients across the region," the company stated in a BSE filing.
In November, the Company received Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) approval with Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme (PIC/S) accreditation from the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) of Malaysia for its state-of-the-art robotic pre-filled syringe (PFS) facility at its Baddi unit.
Prior to this, the pharmaceutical company secured Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) approval from the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF). Venus Remedies' manufacturing unit, located in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, India, recommended for supplying cephalosporin dry powder, a class of β-lactam antibiotic for treating bacterial infections, to UNICEF.
