GPAT 2024: NBE To Close Final Edit Window Tomorrow

New Delhi- The Final edit window for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) applicants for the 2024 session is going to close tomorrow i.e. on May 30, 2024, by 11:55 PM, so candidates are advised to visit the official website of the National Board of Examination (NBE) and make the changes as soon as possible. Following this, the admit card for the GPAT 2024 will be released on 3rd June 2024.

The final edit window for GPAT 2024 was started on May 28, 2024, after the completion of the pre-final edit window on May 23, 2024.

Meanwhile, regarding the Final edit window, NBE in its official notice has stated that “some candidates have not uploaded their photographs, signatures and/or thumb impressions as per prescribed Image Upload Instructions even now. Such candidates are required to rectify the image(s) in their application form during the Final edit window”.

“Such candidates shall be allowed to rectify the incorrect images in their applications from 28th May 2024 to 30th May 2024 (till 11:55 PM)”, the notice added.

With this, NBE has released the list of candidates who need to rectify the image in their GPAT 2024 application form during the final editing window. Also, pointed out the possible reasons for rejections of photographs, signatures and thumb impressions.

Below are the possible reasons for rejections of photographs, signatures and thumb impressions-

POSSIBLE REJECTIONS FOR PHOTOGRAPHS

1 Photograph older than 3 months.

2 Lack of light in the room.

3 Not using white/light-coloured background.

4 Overexposed/underexposed photos.

5 Absence of formal attire while taking photos.

6 Objects behind you while capturing the photograph.

7 Blurred image; Poor image quality.

8 Eyes closed/not looking into the camera.

9 Eyes not visible due to glare on spectacles.

10 Black and white photographs.

11 Uploading photograph showing it on a mobile phone.

12 Cropped photograph from a group photo.

13 Does not contain the full face, ears, neck, and shoulders of the entrant in frontal view; Side pose taken/selfie uploaded.

14 Defective hue of the photo.

POSSIBLE REJECTIONS FOR SIGNATURE

1 Blurred signature.

2 Signature in capital letters.

3 Signature on the ruled page.

4 Initials only; Not complete signatures.

5 Whole pages have been scanned and uploaded instead of the box drawn for signatures.

POSSIBLE REJECTIONS FOR THUMB IMPRESSION

1 Pressed too lightly.

2 Pressed too hard.

3 Too much ink.

4 Not enough ink covering the entire fingertip.

5 Center loop and/or Deltas are not legible.

6 Whole pages have been scanned and uploaded instead of the box drawn for impression.

Furthermore, the notice also mentioned that “Incorrect images can be edited any number of times before the closure of the Final edit window. The submitted information will be saved in records”.

Earlier, NBE had completed the pre-final edit window for GPAT 2024, which began on May 21, 2024, and ended on May 23, 2024, at 11:55 pm.

GPAT 2024 is a national-level examination for the award of scholarships to qualified candidates seeking entry into the Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) course. The GPAT registration 2024 was started on April 19, 2024, at 3:00 PM in online mode.

GPAT 2024 is being conducted by NBEMS on June 8, 2024, on a computer-based platform at various testing centres across the country.
