Maharashtra CET Cell Allots 1,238 Seats in Third Round of M.Pharmacy, Pharm.D Admissions

Mumbai: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has allotted 1,238 seats in the third round of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for M.Pharmacy and Pharm.D. (Post Baccalaureate) admissions for the 2026-27 academic session.
A total of 7,735 candidates submitted their college preferences for the third allocation round. Of the candidates allotted seats, 999 secured admission to colleges included in their submitted preference lists under the auto-freeze mechanism.
Candidates can check their allotment status through the official admission channels of the Maharashtra CET Cell. Those allotted seats in the third round are required to report physically to their respective colleges between October 15 and October 17, 2026, to complete the admission process. The admission formalities include document verification, payment of the prescribed fees and fulfilment of other requirements specified by the respective institutions. Candidates must complete these procedures within the stipulated reporting period to confirm their admission.
The CET Cell has scheduled the release of the tentative vacancy list for the fourth allocation round on October 18, 2026. The list is expected to provide details of the seats available for the subsequent round of the admission process.
Candidates allotted seats under the auto-freeze mechanism are required to complete their admission formalities at their respective institutions. According to the CET Cell's instructions, candidates who decline their allotted seats will not be eligible to participate in the fourth round. They will have to wait for the subsequent institutional round to explore further admission opportunities.
The third seat allocation is part of Maharashtra's centralised admission process for the two-year, full-time M.Pharmacy and Pharm.D. (Post Baccalaureate) programmes.
Candidates are advised to review their allotment status and adhere to the reporting deadline to avoid missing the admission opportunity. They should also follow official CET Cell communications for updates regarding the fourth-round vacancy list, seat availability and subsequent admission procedures. The third seat allotment list was released on October 14, 2026, physical reporting and admission confirmation are scheduled from October 15 to October 17, 2026, and the tentative vacancy list for the fourth allocation round is scheduled for release on October 18, 2026, reports The Telegraph India.
