National Institute of Homoeopathy Invites Applications for Pharmacist, 15 Other Contractual Posts
New Delhi: The National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), functioning under the Ministry of Ayush, has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to 16 contractual posts through walk-in interviews. The vacancies include positions such as Staff Nurse, Pharmacist, Matron, and several other healthcare and support staff roles at the institute.
According to the official recruitment notification, the appointments will be made purely on a contractual basis. Interested and eligible candidates are required to appear for the walk-in interview on the dates specified in the notification along with the prescribed application form and all relevant original documents and self-attested copies for verification.
The recruitment drive covers multiple posts, including Staff Nurse, Pharmacist, Matron, Medical Social Worker, Receptionist-cum-Telephone Operator, Housekeeper, Ward Master, Cook, Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), and other support staff. The number of vacancies, educational qualifications, age limits, experience requirements, and remuneration differ depending on the post.

Candidates applying for the Staff Nurse position must possess the required nursing qualification and registration with the appropriate nursing council. Applicants for the Pharmacist post should have the prescribed pharmacy qualification along with registration with the concerned State Pharmacy Council. Preference may be given to candidates with relevant professional experience wherever applicable.
The institute has specified that the engagement is temporary and contractual in nature and does not confer any right to claim permanent employment. Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration as prescribed for the respective posts. No travelling allowance (TA) or daily allowance (DA) will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.
Applicants are advised to carefully verify the eligibility criteria before appearing for the interview. They must report at the designated venue on the scheduled date and time with the completed application form, recent passport-size photographs, identity proof, educational certificates, experience certificates, registration certificates, and other supporting documents.
