PCI Extends SIF Submission Deadline for 2026-27 Pharmacy Approvals Till November 15

New Delhi: In response to repeated appeals from stakeholders, the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has extended the deadline for submission of the Statutory Inspection Form (SIF) for approval of existing pharmacy institutions for the academic year 2026-2027. Institutions can now submit their applications up to November 15, 2025 through the PCI portal.
The decision comes following numerous representations from pharmacy colleges, examining authorities, and state governments seeking additional time to complete the approval process. The extension marks the final opportunity for institutions to submit the required documents, as the PCI has made it clear that no further extensions will be granted.
The PCI cautioned institutions against waiting until the last day to upload their SIF, warning that heavy traffic on the portal could slow down the submission process.

“Please note this is the last opportunity to submit the SIF for the 2026–2027 academic session. The consequences of failure to apply will rest on the institutions, and institutions will not be considered for approval of the 2026–2027 academic session,” the circular stated.
To ensure smooth processing, the Council has directed that any technical issues or glitches encountered during submission should be documented with a screenshot and reported only through the PCI grievance portal. It further clarified that complaints sent by email or hard copy will not be accepted or considered in any future correspondence or legal proceedings.
