The Resident Doctors’ Association, which is heading the strike has claimed that the administration is not taking the matter as serious as it is; since it is affecting the day to day life of the medicos, they have been left with no other option, then to resort to strike.
In a letter to the Medical Director, LNJP hospital, the RDA intimated about the resident strike from 29-4-2019 and stated, “We would like to inform you that even after repeated requests on our part to resolve the various problems faced by residents regarding their salary, no conclusive action has been taken yet.
