Ahead of Central Institute Body meet, AIIMS Nurses Union asks Center to revoke 80 percent quota for female nurses
New Delhi: AIIMS Nurses Union has approached the Centre seeking to revoke the 2019 decision of the Central Institute Body (CIB) of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) that reserves 80 percent of the nursing posts for female nurses, and do away with the gender-based reservation system.
This comes ahead of the CIB meet scheduled for June 15.
