AIIMS NORCET 08 : Institute Choice Filling Panel open, Check out information brochure, FAQs

AIIMS opens Institute Choice Filling Panel for NORCET-08 Qualified Candidates Till May 16.

New Delhi- Through a notice, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has invites applications from all the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET- 08) Stage-II, Qualified and provisionally Eligible candidate based on preliminary verification based on details provided at the time of registration by the filling choice of institute & their order of preference against vacancy for the post of Nursing Officer of respective Institute as per eligibility based on NORCET- 08 Rank.

As per the notice, the panel for application for Individual Institute/Hospital has opened from 10 May 2025 to 16 May 2025, upto 05.00 PM. Therefore, all provisionally eligible candidates are required to log in using credentials for online registration and sign up for the Institute application portal on the AIIMS New Delhi official website. However, no correspondence will be entertained after the date and time specified above.

Selection is subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria applicable for the respective Institute/Hospital for NORCET-08. Applicants not filling the choice will not be eligible for allocation and appointment in the Institute for which no choice was exercised, irrespective of their eligibility status. However, all kinds of queries shall be raised only through the link provided in the choice portal.

PROCEDURE

The complete process of Application as per NORCET Rank, Offer, Acceptance and reporting to the Institute will be conducted in three stages in online mode only.

STAGE I- Application for post in Institute(s) as per NORCET-8 Stage-II Rank.

STAGE II- Offer of post in Institute(s).

STAGE III- Acceptance and Reporting by the candidate.

LIST OF REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

1 RESULT: Marks secured by candidate for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-8 Stage-II.

2 Registration Slip of online registration, having the candidate's Signature.

3 Admit Card having Candidate Signature for Both NORCET-08 Stage I & II.

4 Proof of Date of Birth or Class 10th (Matriculation) Certificate.

5 Caste certificate/Income & Asset Certificate as applicable if applied under SC/ST/OBC/EWS category issued by the competent authority.

6 Disability Certificate, if applied under the PWBD category.

7 PWBD Certificate showing the extent of disability issued by the authorised/competent authority.

8 NOC - Candidates are required to upload a NOC they are currently working in Central/State/PSB/PSU bodies.

9 Proof of Essential Educational Qualification (Original, Provisional, Degree, Diploma, Certificate) along with Proof of Date of Result Declaration/Issue of Certificate.

10 Registration Certificate as Grade “A” Nurse or Midwife from the State/Indian Nursing Council.

11 Experience Certificates in case of Diploma (GNM) Holder, indicating the Number of Beds of the Hospital and Duration of Experience.

12 Copy of original ID Card for proof of Identity issued by any government Authority.

13 Any other certificate required by the respective AIIMS/Hospital.

ELIGIBILITY

Based on information provided in the online application and eligibility criteria for all AIIMS & VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, for Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI), Kolkata, for National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases (NITRD), New Delhi, for All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AIIPMR), Mumbai and for Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi, preliminary scrutiny will be done against eligibility criteria. Only candidates fulfilling all eligibility criteria (including the allowed relaxations) will be provisionally allowed to participate in the online process of application process and allocation of the Institute.

Intimation regarding eligibility will be sent only to the registered email ID. All candidates are advised to be alert and check their EMAIL/SMS regularly. AIIMS New Delhi will not be responsible for any issue/delay in accessing your email or SMS. It is also important to check the website regularly for any updates in this regard.

Applicants who will not exercise the choice of Institutes (as applicable) and order of choice will not be eligible for allocation and candidature will stand cancelled without any notice. Institutes for which a candidate is eligible and did not opt in the choice will not be considered for those Institutes.

Selection of applicants into various AIIMS is subject to the verification of eligibility, documents in original, etc., as desired by the respective recruiting AIIMS/Hospitals, as per their criteria applicable.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q1 Who can apply for the online seat allocation process?

A Only candidates fulfilling all eligibility criteria (including the allowed relaxations), for all AIIMS & VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, for Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI), Kolkata, for National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases (NITRD) New Delhi, for All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, (AIIPMR), Mumbai and for Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi and qualified in NORCET -8 Stage-II will be provisionally allowed to participate in the online process of application and allocation of Institute.

Q2 How can a candidate apply for online Seat allocation?

A The qualified and eligible candidates will have to log in to their MyPage to apply for the Online Allocation of Institute/Hospitals. The link for the portal to apply for the post of Nursing Officer in various AIIMS will be activated only for qualified and eligible candidates in the MyPage.

Q3 Can a candidate apply for more than one Institute/Hospitals?

A Yes, a candidate can apply to as many institutes as they wish to apply, subject to their eligibility for the institutes/hospitals.

Q4 Can a candidate apply for all AIIMS, AIIMS/VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital/NITRD/AIIPMR, Mumbai/CNCI Kolkata/CIP, Ranchi?

A Yes, a candidate can apply for all AIIMS and other Hospitals, if they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the same. The order of preference of allocation will be applicable as filled by the candidate in order of merit. Only one Institute will be allocated out of the filled choices as applicable.

Q5 Can a candidate be allowed to change choices or order of preference, or add new choices of AIIMS/Hospital where not applied for at a later stage?

A NO. Choices and order of preference once filled at once cannot be changed at later stages. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Q6 Whether a candidate be considered for seat allocation where he/she has not filled preference?

A No, Candidates will be considered for online seat allocation where they have filled choice/order of preference. No candidate will be allocated institute where they have not filled choice/order of preference.

Q7 Is there any 2nd round for NORCET-8 (OPTION-2)?

A No, there will be no 2nd round will be conducted. Now NORCET is conducted twice a year.

Q8 What is the time validity of category certificates provided by the candidates for NORCET-8?

A Validity of community certificates is as follows-

i OBC(NCL): - The validity of the non-creamy layer certificate shall be issued for the financial year 2024-2025 (which is the year of advertisement) (considering income upto the financial year ending on 31st March, 2024), issued from 1st April 2024 to 17th March, 2025.

If the applicant does not have the OBC non-creamy layer certificate valid for the financial year 2024-2025 at the time of registration, the applicant must upload the previously issued (older) OBC non-creamy layer certificate or the acknowledgement slip of the OBC non-creamy layer certificate application. However, at the time when asked to submit/upload the valid certificate, the applicant must produce the applicable certificate valid for the financial year (2024-2025) as said above. This additional certificate (if any) must have a reference of his/her already issued original caste certificate.

ii EWS: - A EWS certificate issued in the prescribed format for employment in the Central Government based on the income of the financial year 2023-2024 issued from 01.04.2024 to 17.03.2025, valid for the year 2024-2025, will be considered valid.

However, a candidate must possess all certificates as required on the day of accepting/reporting.

Q9 What will happen to candidates who have not uploaded any documents to the portal?

A Candidature of all such candidates will be cancelled with the approval of the competent authority.
