AIIMS refutes NORCET 2025 paper leak claims

New Delhi- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, issued a clarification following widespread reports alleging a paper leak in the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-9) exam for the academic year 2025. Through the press release, the institute said that the claims circulating on social media were based solely on memory-based questions shared by candidates after the exam and are not leaks.
In its statement, the institute mentioned, “AIIMS has observed media reports suggesting an alleged paper leak in NORCET-9. Upon careful review, it is clarified that the materials shared online consist exclusively of memory-based questions recalled by candidates after the examination, a routine and widespread practice. This does not constitute a question paper leak”.
An internal committee was constituted to review the concerns. According to AIIMS, the committee has confirmed that the integrity of the NORCET-9 examination remains completely intact, with no evidence of malpractice or undue advantage being given to any candidate
Further, the statement read, “Stage I results have already been announced, and Stage II is scheduled to take place on 27th September 2025. AIIMS reaffirms its unwavering commitment to conducting examinations in a fair, transparent, and merit-based manner for all aspirants”.
AIIMS New Delhi had earlier invited online applications for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 9 for the recruitment of Nursing Officer posts at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs 4600/-, Group-B for AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS as per available vacancies in the respective Institutes. The Main Exam is on September 27, 2025.
