NutraPlus to manufacture commercial drugs at Tarapur Plant

Drug firm NutraPlus India has announced its plans to start the commercial production at its multi-purpose active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) facility at Tarapur plant in Maharashtra from September this year. The API plant has a total installed capacity of 360 MT per annum of various kinds of high-end multi speciality products in therapeutic and analgesic segment of pharma industry, as confirmed by the company to PTI.
"The company will start commercial production from first week of September, 2015 at plant N-92, MIDC Tarapur Maharashtra," NutraPlus India Ltd said in a BSE filing.
The products to be produced at the plant are used by various pharma formulation units to manufacture therapeutic and analgesic products, NutraPlus India said.
Shares of NutraPlus India were trading at Rs 270 apiece in the afternoon trade on BSE, up 6.47 per cent.
