Post-delivery, women in Telangana to get KCR kits
Hyderabad : The Telangana government would provide a kit, consisting of necessary items like soaps, shampoos and towels, to poor women soon after their delivery.
The kit has been named after 'KCR' (Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao).
Health Minister C Laxma Reddy, who held a meeting with officials of his department, asked them to compile necessary data by the month-end to facilitate distribution of the kits, according to a state government release.
Reddy, who also held a meeting with superintendents of different government hospitals in the state, said the government is supplying modern equipment to the hospitals.
The superintendents should hold meetings frequently to sort out problems expeditiously, Reddy said.
