Punjab: GMCH Chandigarh patient jumps to death
Punjab: GMCH Chandigarh, Sector 32 recently reported a shocking case of a patient jumping to his death from the fifth floor of the hospital.
The 60-year old has reportedly committed suicide by taking the extreme step of deciding to jump from the fifth floor.
Though the reason for the suicide is yet to be established by the initial police investigation, there are few details emerging on the case which confirm his admission to the hospital. Apparently, he had received an electric shock and was admitted to the hospital after that.
After the fall, he was reported to the emergency ward, but could not be saved.
As reported by Tribune, according to the police, the victim has been identified as Bhupinder Singh, a resident of Zirakpur.
Sources said the victim was admitted to the hospital in the morning after he received an electric shock.
The police said in the afternoon, the victim reportedly jumped from the fifth floor. The victim was rushed to Emergency. However, he could not be saved.
The police said the reason behind the suicide was yet to be established.
