Registration of Additional Qualification only via online Mode: MCI Public notice
New Delhi: Through a recent public notice, the Board of governors in supersession of Medical Council of India (MCI BOG) have announced that they will stop accepting offline applications for registration of additional qualifications from now on.
Applications for registrations of additional qualifications to the council will now have to be online on the official website of mciindia.org. The same is also true for candidates who are making applications for MCI eligibility certificate, as these candidates will also now have to make only applications
"At present applications for registration of additional qualification and eligibility certificates are being accepted through offline and online mode, both. It has been decided that from Monday, 18th November, 2019, applications for registration of additional qualification and eligibility certificate will be accepted through online portal only," the notice issued by the MCI BOG stated
The notice further added that the Medical Council of India (MCI) has developed an online portal for submission of applications for registration of additional qualifications and issue of eligibility certificates.
"All the persons concerned are requested to submit their application for registration of additional qualification and eligibility certificate, as the case may be, through online portal only from Monday, 18th November 2019. Application will not be received in offline mode from 18th November 2019," the notice added
"In case of any problem in submission of the application, the applicant may contact at Helpdesk toll-free no.: 1800111154 (Extn. 201 & 235) or through email: support.helpdesk@mciindia.org," the notice issued by Dr RK Vats, Secretary-General MCI BOG
The additional qualifications can be registered by logging on to the official website of the Medical Council of India. While applying for Additional Qualification Certificate, the Doctor needs to enter the details & upload all the required documents. They need to make the online payment through payment getaway using this application module. The system generates a unique application ID for each application and automatically send the same to Doctor's registered email ID and provides Login details for future self-service. The application goes to MCI and all the documents are verified and crosschecked. The application is then processed by MCI and the Doctor will receive auto response to his/her application whether it is successful or unsuccessful.
