Delhi: MAMC Anaesthesia Professor posted in COVID ICU becomes casualty to the disease
New Delhi: A Senior Anaesthetist associated with the Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC)- Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital ( LNJP) who played an important role in the capital's battle against coronavirus succumbed to Covid-19 infection in the ICU of a private dedicated coronavirus facility.
The doctor was posted in the ICU of LNJP Hospital, a coronavirus-dedicated facility in the capital, that has slowly become the hub of the battle against the deadly virus in the capital
"He lost the battle today after a valiant fight," a hospital source said. Sources said the doctor died in the ICU of Max Smart, a dedicated Covid-19 facility in Saket. Several hundreds of healthcare workers have been infected with Covid-19 till date.
Doctors and his medical students soon took to social media to pay their tributes to the doctor
