The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admitting students to undergraduate medical courses. NEET 2022 date and time has is to be announced soon. NEET 2022 is most likely to be held in June or July.
Recently a major change was spotted in NEET exam, as the National Medical Commission (NMC) has decided to remove the upper age-bar for appearing in the entrance test. This decision has been taken in the 4th NMC meeting held on 21st Oct, 2021 and NMC, the apex medical regulator, recently informed this decision to the National Testing Agency (NTA). Last year, the UG Medical Education Board of NMC was considering the possibility of removing the upper age cap in NEET entrance. Such considerations had been made while keeping in mind the problems of the students belonging to lower-income families, and the exodus of MBBS aspirants to foreign countries.
