Goa Medical College MBBS medico booked for recording bathing videos of female students

Medical student booked
Panaji: In a disturbing incident, a final-year MBBS student from Goa Medical College has been booked for allegedly peeping through the bathroom window of the girls’ hostel at Goa Dental College and secretly recording videos of female students while they were bathing using his mobile phone.
According to reports, the accused entered the hostel premises by crossing the shared boundary between Goa Medical College and Goa Dental College.
The student's alleged actions prompted the police to take swift action, leading to the registration of an FIR against him for trespassing and invasion of privacy. He was booked on Saturday, according to an official from the Agassaim police station, as reported by PTI.

The incident took place on May 19 between 09.45 pm to 10 pm, when the accused trespassed into the ground floor premises of the girls’ hostel, located in Bambolim near Panaji.
As per HT news report, Goa Medical College and Goa Dental College are situated adjacent to each other in Bambolim village near Panaji. The two institutions share a common boundary, which the accused allegedly crossed to gain access to the girls' hostel.
After reaching the location, he attempted to observe and record videos using his mobile phone of female students while they were bathing. Following this, the Girls Hostel Secretary of Goa Dental College & Hospital heard about the incident and filed a complaint against the student at Agacaim police, reports TOI.
A police officer told PTI, “Both the colleges are located next to each other at Bambolim village near Panaji. On May 19, between 09.45 pm to 10 pm, the accused trespassed into the premises of the girl's hostel building on the ground floor and attempted to observe and record videos using his mobile phone of female students while they were bathing,” he said.
Another officer said, "The accused person committed a serious invasion of privacy, constituting a grave violation of law, decency, and the safety and dignity of female residents. Further investigation is in progress."
Medical Dialogues recently reported that the Vishrambag police have arrested three men, including two medical students, on the charge of gang-raping a 22-year-old MBBS student of a city-based medical college after lacing her drink with a sedative on May 18. The students were reportedly classmates of the woman. According to the police, the arrested youths took the girl to a room in Wanlesswadi and gave her a cold drink mixed with an intoxicant. She fell asleep and then, all three raped her. After she woke up early that morning, the girl rushed to the Vishrambag police station and lodged a complaint against three.
