CM Bhupendra Patel Inaugurates Healthcare monitoring centre in Gandhinagar

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Tuesday inaugurated the Arogya Samiksha Kendra, a healthcare monitoring centre in Gandhinagar, which will review and evaluate the implementation of healthcare services and schemes in the entire state.
Talking to reporters, State Health Minister Rushikesh Patel said that the Arogya Samiksha Kendra will also gather feedback, complaints and suggestions from patients and beneficiaries of healthcare schemes such as Ayushman Bharat.
"Patients and beneficiaries can now register their complaints or share their feedback or suggestions by calling the health helpline number '104'. Calls will be answered from the monitoring centre, and issues will be resolved at the earliest. We will monitor and review Gujarat's healthcare service from this centre," he said, news agency PTI reported.

According to a government release, programmes and schemes being run by the health department will be integrated at this centre for regular follow-up and review to achieve the set goals, and the feedback mechanism will help in reaching out to people deprived of healthcare facilities.
A dashboard to analyse the digital data of beneficiaries and an audio-visual system for easy communication have been created at the centre for effective monitoring of all the healthcare schemes and programmes, it said.
By calling '104', people can find out about health schemes or any other advice related to health from the comfort of their homes, the release stated.
The centre will also prove beneficial during natural disasters and epidemics.
Moreover, it will help the government communicate health-related policy decisions to district-level officers using audio-visual tools.
Some facilities at the centre include an audio-visual conference room, a meeting room for video conferences and a call centre to provide guidance and consultation about health services, the release said.
