Expired drugs, biowaste found in Chamba hospital vicinity, whistle blower traumatised: AAP spokesperson S S Jogta
Aap Adami party state spokesperson S S Jogta alleged that 2011expiry date medicines or vials were being thrown in the medical wards and massive proportion of biowaste was polluted the vicinity.
Shimla: The Biowaste and medicines with expiry date were found lying unmanaged inside the medical wards and in the vicinity of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital, Chamba.
Soon it was captured and clippings posted on Social media by a local journo.

Aap Adami party state spokesperson S S Jogta said in a statement issued Sunday that the whistle blower was victimised by Jai Ram Thakur government through a notice sent to him and his wife was transferred to Nahan Medical College Hospital.
Mr Jogta alleged that 2011 expiry date medicines or vials were being thrown in the medical wards and massive proportion of biowaste was polluted the vicinity.
He said condition of medical college is pathetic as there is shortage of medical staff and Health Services. Ultrasound machine is not working and patients are not being attended properly in the medical college.
Party said action should be taken for negligence being adopted to keep the stock of medicine lying in the hospital for last ten years and should have been disposed if it could not be utilised in time.
Party said patients were kept waiting for three to four hours in the ambulances to be attended.
Party also demanded thorough probe into the incident. It demanded to dispose the heavy stock piles of biowaste in the hospital.
Importantly, that it is mandatory for all hospital administration to report about the stock of biowaste to dispose it in its special disposal unit .
According to state pollution control board there is no indisposed biowaste in the state.
