Hamirpur: Two wireless cardiotocography machines have been installed in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Dr. Radhakrishnan Government College hospital here.
This was stated by Dr. Anil Chauhan, the Principal of the Medical College adding that these machines would be used for monitoring and recording the fetal heart rate, maternal intrauterine pressure, and cardiac activity.
The important thing in this is that the machines were imported from the United Kingdom despite the present global Covid 19 scenario because of efforts of the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
