NHM team inspects Dalhousie Civil Hospital
Dalhousie: A three-person yearly assessment team of the Kayakalp scheme under the National Health Mission (NHM) of the Government of India has recently paid a visit to Dalhousie civil hospital.
This inspection will determine the ranking of the hospital. Kayakalp awards are given to hospitals every year for the arrangements made in the health sector.
The expert team inspecting the facility included Joint Director Health Services (retd) Dr BM Gupta, Dr Ajay Sharma and Dr Resham Singh.
The team thoroughly examined all of the patient facilities, including OPD registration, patient examination, testing, drug distribution, injection rooms, labour rooms, hospital support services, and cleanliness in accordance with established requirements, reports The Tribune.
Senior Medical Officer (SMO) Dr Bipin Thakur, who is in charge of Dalhousie civil hospital, said, “On the basis of team strength, efforts are being made to keep all arrangements as per the prescribed norms.”
