Karnataka: 38-Year-Old Govt Doctor Succumbs To COVID
The Government doctor was reportedly tested COVID positive on August 28 and was undergoing treatment at home.
Bengaluru: In an unfortunate incident, a 38-year-old government doctor attached to the government hospital at Kunigal taluk in Tumakuru district succumbed to COVID.
The deceased doctor is identified as Dr Devraj, who died on September 7, 2020, official sources confirmed here on Tuesday. He was reportedly tested COVID positive on August 28 and was undergoing treatment at home.
He was being shifted to a hospital in Tumakuru after developing breathing problems last evening. However, while on his way to the hospital he passed away, sources added.

Health Minister B Sriramulu, expressing grief over Dr Devraj''s death, told PTI that it was "unfortunate" that he died due to COVID. Noting that he was a good doctor and had served coronavirus patients, he added that all facilities and compensation his family was entitled to would be given at the earliest.
Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar in a tweet said he was pained on hearing about Dr Devraj''s death.
