KEA publishes schedule for mop up round for BDS admission, Details
Bengaluru: Through a recent notice, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the schedule for mop up round for admission to BDS courses in the state.
All the concerned candidates are hereby informed that Mop-up round seat allotment to Dental seats will be conducted as per the following schedule. Eligibility to participate in the Mop-round and other details is hosted on the KEA Website.
Counselling will be stopped once the seats are exhausted. Therefore candidates/parents are informed to check the availability of seats on the KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in before participating in the mop-up round.
Those who are already verified their documents but not allotted Medical or Dental Seat and downloaded Entry Pass are only eligible to participate in the Dental Mop-up round as per the following schedule. College wise, Category Wise and Course Wise seats available for mop-up round seat selection is hosted on the KEA Website along with the fee structure.
NOTE: Candidates will be allowed to enter the premises only on producing

a.Minority religious Candidates- only Muslim*,MMH b.Minority Linguistic candidates Telugu (Kodava, Tamil, Tulu no seats as on 21-12-2020) and NRI /OCI/PIO/NRI Ward candidates . Although, all religious minority candidates of all the states are considered , priority* will be given to Karnataka domiciled religious minority candidates who have already verified their documents and eligible to claim such minority seats. | ||
| Once the seat is allotted in the above rounds, candidate will not be allowed to participate in the following round seat allotment. If any seat is not allotted then the candidate is eligible to participate in the following round as per the schedule as per their eligibility. | |
After completion of the seat allotment to the above category candidates, if any reserved seats remain unfilled will be converted as per norms, further the seat which may remain under NRI(N) quota, will be converted to Others(Q) quota and offered to eligible candidates as per the schedule. |

- Demand Draft should be withdrawn in favour of "The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority", payable at Bangalore.
- The eligible candidates who like to attend the mop-up round seat selection should come prepared with the demand drafts for the fee detailed above as per their choice of a seat, failing which they will not be allowed to register and select any seat.
- Since, the Bank counter functioning at the KEA seat selection premises will not issue the demand drafts, the candidates and parents are also advised not to bring the prescribed fee in the form of CASH/ Cheque.
- Candidates can bring multiple demand drafts in different denominations corresponding to the fee amount.
Note: Candidates are advised to confirm the availability of seats for mop-up round before coming to KEA.
Note:
- Candidates have to appear as per the schedule according to NEET-All India Rank.
- Candidates are allowed only 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Be attentive for the announcements at KEA premises.
- If the seat allotted in the mop-up round is cancelled, entire fee paid will be forfeited.
- Beware of touts and middlemen.
