The doctor started to pursue his passion for styling hair to keep his mind fresh in this pandemic stricken situation of the country. Using the opportunity, 100 medical students of MCH has taken his expert hands' help to get a haircut done.
The medicos stated that they were supposed to go out to trim their hair and beard but during the current situation of a Covid-19 affected world, they were all quarantined. It was not possible for them to go out. When they came to know about Dr Jauhar's passion regarding hair styling, they requested him to style their hair for them.
He used to be a stylist for his father and brother previously, this was the first time that he has done it for so many people.
First he helped some of his friends when he was still in the second year of his MBBS, but he applied different styles on their hair and beard which made him popular very soon. He informed that his friend last trimmed their hair before the practical examinations and now most of them are relying on him only.
In fact, while pursuing his passion he had also made a little fortune for himself and he decided to use it for better purpose and handed over rupees 8000 to the imprints initiative of the institute of palliative care located MCH.
He told The Indian Express, "I never thought I would get so many people coming forward to get their hair and beard done, but it was a pleasure and definitely the videos coming on social media were a saviour. The tips these videos offered were of great help. Every person has a different pattern of hair and hence it's not that easy to stick to one style for all people. This part was challenging but the confidence they gave me was a boost to style more hairs."
