Kerala: Female Doctor attacked with slippers by patient, attendant
Thiruvananthapuram: In yet another instance of violence against woman doctor in Thiruvananthapuram, a duty doctor attached to Gokulam Medical College at Attinga was verbally abused and threw slippers at by two men who sought treatment at the facility on the night of August 14.
In the latest incident traumatizing the young doctor, two men arrived at the hospital for treatment as one of them had injured his hand. When the doctor asked them to leave the footwear outside the sterilized room, they allegedly got provoked and misbehaved with the doctor. They started hurling abusive at her, and threw footwear towards her. The medico dodged the slippers, and it hit the nurse who was standing next to her.
