Not just marriage, fake doctor also did 18 lakh MBBS seat fraud
Bhubaneshwar: Days after a 54 year old man posing as a doctor was arrested in Bhubaneshwar for allegedly marrying multiple women and fleeing with their money, fresh cheating allegations have been reported against him. This time, for selling fake MBBS seats. He allegedly duped a person of Rs 18 lakh on the pretext of arranging an MBBS seat for his son, reports the Sambad English.
The complainant, a resident of Biridhua in Jagatsinghpur district filed a complaint against the fraudster at the Khandagiri Police Station in Bhubaneswar.

Along with the complaint, the complainant also submitted to the police the money receipts and an offer letter given to him by the fake doctor.
The fake offer letter stated that the complainant's son has been selected to take admission for the MBBS course at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar. The complainant further alleged that the brother-in-law of the accused persuaded him to give the money to the fake doctor.
The accused posed as the Director-General of Central Health and Higher Education under the Ministry of Health reports the Sambad English.
The accused has been on a five-day remand after his arrest by the Commissionerate Police for defrauding multiple women by marrying them and then fleeing with their money. The medical dialogues team had earlier reported about the incident where he is reported to have defrauded multiple women of crores of rupees.

A day before, a few residents of the Kamakhyanagar area in Dhenkanal district had alleged that the accused who has been running a clinic in the area from 1990 to 2010, administered wrong treatment on several patients resulting in their deaths.
