Odisha Ayurveda student dies after being hit by speeding motorcycle

Odisha: In an unfortunate incident, a first year medical student of the Government Ayurvedic College in Bolangir recently died after being hit by a speeding motorcycle.
The incident reportedly sparked tension on the college campus.
According to odishatv, the incident had taken place last Saturday when a speeding biker allegedly knocked down the student. The impact of the collision had left her critically injured.
Following the accident, the injured student was rushed to a private hospital in Bargarh, where she had been undergoing treatment in a critical condition.
However, despite medical efforts, the student reportedly succumbed to her injuries on Monday.
After news of her death spread, tension prevailed at the Government Ayurvedic College in Balangir, with students expressing grief over the tragic loss.
The Democratic Medical Association (DMA) expressed condolences to the bereaved family and urged authorities to ensure a transparent and time-bound probe. The association stated that a fair investigation is necessary to deliver justice and prevent negligence on roads.
According to a recent report by UNI, the medical fraternity has been left deeply saddened by the tragic demise of the MBBS student after he lost his life in a road accident. The untimely death of the young and aspiring doctor has sent shockwaves among medical students and doctors across the region.
The student sustained critical injuries in a road accident in Gorakhpur. Despite efforts to provide medical assistance, he succumbed to his injuries, leaving his family, friends, and colleagues in deep grief. Local authorities and the police responded promptly to the incident and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
