NEET Aspirant Found Dead in Kota, Suicide by Poison suspected

Kota- In a tragic incident, the body of a 23-year-old student, who was preparing for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to undergraduate medical courses, was found on the roadside in Kota, Rajasthan. The police suspect that the student allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison.
The deceased student was a resident of Tughlakabad, Delhi and lived in a hostel in Coral Park located in Naya Nohra area. He was preparing for NEET through online coaching, the exam of which is going to be held on 4 May 2025.
According to a Hindustan Times report, the body was spotted by a passerby in the bushes and later informed the authorities. Police reached the spot, investigated and identified the body with the help of his mobile phone and informed his family.
Meanwhile, the student had reportedly told his family over the phone on Wednesday that he would not return home or take the exam. Currently, the police are talking to the family to confirm the phone call.
Further, speaking to the Hindustan Times, Kunhadi police station officer Arvind Bharadwaj said, "His body has been sent to the mortuary of MBS hospital. The post-mortem will be conducted later today once her family reaches Kota."
Medical Dialogues has recently reported a similar case in which a 22-year-old NEET aspirant died at a roadside tea stall in the Kota district of Rajasthan. Police suspect that the student died of a sudden heart attack.
The deceased has been identified as Tejkaran, a resident of Gadhwara village in Pali district. Tejkaran was waiting at a tea stall when he suddenly fainted and fell on the ground. Seeing his condition, the tea seller immediately raised an alarm, and passersby came forward and took the young man to the hospital. After this, people nearby took him to the hospital. However, by the time he was brought to the hospital, he had died.
