Stipend Hike: Tamil Nadu resident doctors call off strike after Health Minister's assurance
Chennai: In a recent development, the Tamil Nadu resident doctors and medical interns called off the protest scheduled for July 14 and July 15 after Health Minister Ma. Subramanian assured that steps will be taken to fulfil their demands including stipend hike.
Now, with the assurance given by the Health Minister, the association has decided that it will allow time to the government to take action. However, they threatened to go on strike at the end of July if no action is taken by the authorities till then.
