4,150 MBBS seats available at Private Medical Colleges in Uttar Pradesh

4,150 MBBS seats available at Private Medical Colleges in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: Aspiring candidates of an MBBS course can now view the seat distribution data released by the Directorate General of Medical Education Uttar Pradesh (UP DGME) of all Private medical colleges of the state.

The total available seats across the 29 private medical colleges for the NEET 2020 qualified aspirants are 4,150 for the session 2020.

A total of 100 seats are available at four of the medical colleges out of the 29, namely, Sri Rammurti Smarak Institute of medical sciences, Bareilly; Rama Medical college hospital, & research centre, Kanpur; Hind institute of medical sciences, barabanki and Career institute of medical sciences, Lucknow (MINORITY).

In the rest of the colleges, namely, Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Muzaffarnagar; Rohilkhand Medical college & hospital, Bareilly; Saraswati institute of medical sciences, Hapur; School of medical sciences, (Sharda University), greater Noida; Rama medical college hospital, & research centre, Hapur; Subharti medical college, Meerut; Rajshree medical research institute, Bareilly; Heritage institute of medical sciences, Varanasi; Hind institute of medical sciences, Sitapur; T.S. Mishra medical college 7 hospitals, Lucknow; Mayo institute of medical sciences, barabanki; Krishan Mohan medical college & hospital, Mathura; Saraswati medical college, Unnao; K.D. medical college hospital & research centre, Mathura; G S medical college, Hapur; Shri Venkateshwara institute of medical sciences, amroha; Varunarjun medical college & rohilkhand hospital, sahjahanpur; National capital region institute of medical sciences, Meerut (previously known as MSY); Noida international institute of medical sciences, Gautam budh Nagar (new); United institute of medical sciences, prayagraj the sanctioned seats at each Institute is a total of 150.

In the Minority colleges of Era's Lucknow Medical College, Lucknow (MINORITY); Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College & research centre, Moradabad (MINORITY); F.H. Medical college, agra (MINORITY); Integral Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Lucknow (MINORITY) there are 150 seats available for medical courses.

For all those MBBS aspirants seeking admissions to Uttar Pradesh based medical colleges, here is the fee structure.

As per the details given by the counselling authority, the range of the fees for MBBS ranges from 10.5 lakh to 12.7 lakh per annum in 24 medical colleges in the state. While for BDS course, the fees lay around 3 lakhs per annum at 19 dental colleges

The highest MBBS fee is at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly with Rs 12.72 lakh pa followed by T.S. Misra Medical College & Hospital, Amausi, Lucknow with Rs 12.65 and Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi with Rs 12.65 lakh per annum fees.

4th highest fee is being charged at Rama Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Hapur with Rs 12.54 lakh pa followed by Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Muzaffarnagar with Rs 12.31 lakh pa fees and Rama Medical College Hospital, Kanpur with 12.30 lakh fees.

Rohilkhand Medical College & Hospital, Bareilly will be charging Rs 12.26 lakh while Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, Shahajahanpur will charge Rs 12.10 lakh this year.

Less than 12 lakh, National Capital Region Institute of Medical Sciences, Meerut will be charging 11.72 lakh, Rajshree Medical Research Institute & Hospital, Bareilly will be charging Rs 11.71 lakh and School of Medical Sciences and Research, Greater Noida will charge 11.79 lakh.

MBBS fee for K.D. Medical College, Hospital and Research Center, Mathura is set at Rs 11.68 lakh and for United Institute of Medical Sciences, Prayagraj, its 11.56 lakh similar to Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences, Gautam Budh Nagar.

The fee structure further mentions that Rs 11.30 lakh will be charged by Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki and GS Medical College & Hospital, Hapur for MBBS course this year.

Subharti Medical College will charge Rs 11.31 lakh this year for MBBS course.

Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences, Hapur is going to charge Rs 11.05 lakh for MBBS seat.

Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences, Gajraula, Amroha; Prasad Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow and Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki are going to charge Rs 10.83 lakh, Rs 10.84 lakh and Rs 10.67 lakh respectively.

The lowest fee is reported to be at Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Sitapur with Rs 10.4 lakh per MBBS admission pa.
