CM Yogi inaugurates hi-tech labs for Covid-19, Dengue tests in UP
These labs will be operational in seven private medical colleges including in Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki, Integral Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, Rama Medical College, and Research Institute, Hapur, FH Medical College, and Hospital Firozabad, T S Mishra Medical college, Lucknow, Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi and Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Muzaffarnagar.
Lucknow: While inaugurating hi-tech labs for Covid-19 and Dengue tests, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Monday that the state government is committed to protecting its residents from these dreaded diseases and has taken several steps to prevent the spread of these diseases.
The Chief Minister said while launching operations of these hi-tech labs in private and state-run centers today.

"As both center and the state government are committed to providing the best facilities available we are looking at technology to lessen the worries of the masses,"
These labs will be operational in seven private medical colleges including in Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki, Integral Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, Rama Medical College, and Research Institute, Hapur, FH Medical College, and Hospital Firozabad, T S Mishra Medical college, Lucknow, Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi and Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Muzaffarnagar.
In the state-run hospitals, these facilities have been made operational in medical colleges of Prayagraj, Agra, Kanpur and Gorakhpur.
During the last eight months when the world has been waging a war against the Covid pandemic Uttar Pradesh has been successful in controlling the virus spread due to efficient management. While
in the month of March, only 77 tests were done, this month till November 23 over 1.75 lakh tests have been done, taking the total number of tests in the state to 1.80 crore, the CM said.
"The efforts of the UP government have been appreciated by WHO because we were able to back trace the cases through intensified surveillance," he said.
