Renowned Vascular Surgeon, Former pro-vice chancellor of AMU Prof Mohammad Hanif Beg no more
Aligarh: Medical community has to bear a great loss as a noted vascular surgeon and the former Pro-Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Prof Mohammad Hanif Beg passed away at the age of 69 in Moradabad.
Prof Beg served as the Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Chairperson, Department of Surgery, JNMC. He played a key role in the establishment and development of the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery and started the Open-Heart-Surgery procedure in 1988 at the JNMC.

He was associated with the JNMC, AMU and was a noted Cardiothoracic, vascular Surgeon.
