Medical Dialogues had recently reported a similar incident where a Gujarat-based medical student allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the Narmada canal near Galteshwar village on Wednesday. However, before killing himself, the medico recorded a video and sent it to his friends stating that he was betrayed in love. The deceased, a resident of Balasinor in Mahisagar district, was pursuing his medical education in the Philippines.
