Fees for non-clinical PG medical courses reduced from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 1 lakh in Uttarakhand
Amid the COVID pandemic, this move is set to bring major relief to the PG medical aspirants vying for admission to Uttrakhand medical colleges.
Dehradun - Bringing good news to aspirants who intend to secure admission to non-clinical PG medical courses in Uttarakhand based medical colleges, the state government has given its nod to reduce the fee structure by a substantial percentage.
The confirmation to this effect comes via a recent announcement made by the Chief Minister office declaring that Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has approved a proposal to reduce the fees of non-clinical PG courses in state medical colleges from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 1 lakh, according to ANI.
Amid the COVID pandemic, this move is set to bring major relief to the PG medical aspirants vying for admission to Uttrakhand medical colleges.
Meanwhile, the state reported 49 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total count to 2,691. The number of deaths due to the disease in the state stands at 36, the state health department said.
