MCC Withdraws 3 Seats from NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has withdrawn a total of 3 seats from the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) stray vacancy round counselling for the academic year 2024-25. This has been recently informed through a notice to all the candidates participating in the counselling.
According to the notice, the seats have been withdrawn after the MCC of DGHS received information from 2 institutes to withdraw 3 seats from the seat matrix of stray vacancies of PG counselling 2024. Therefore, the withdrawn seats will be removed from the Seat Matrix before the allotment process of Stray Vacancy of PG Counselling 2024.
The seats have been withdrawn from Government Periyar District Headquarters Hospital and Tejaswini Hospital and SSIOT. Of these, the Government Periyar District Headquarters Hospital has withdrawn 2 seats and Tejaswini Hospital and SSIOT have withdrawn only 1 seat.
The Government Periyar District Headquarters Hospital has withdrawn 1 seat from the UR category from the Diploma Anaesthesiology and 1 seat from the OBC category from the Diploma Paediatrics. Meanwhile, the Tejaswini Hospital and SSIOT have withdrawn only 1 seat from the UR category from Orthopaedics.

Meanwhile, MCC has recently released the NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round Counselling clear vacancy positions for the academic year 2024-25. As per the vacancies, a total of 2562 seats are vacant in NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024-25.
MCC has started the NEET PG stray vacancy round counselling registration process for the academic year 2024-25. As per the recently revised schedule released by MCC, NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024-25 began on February 12, 2025, and will end on March 1, 2025.
