More than 300 stones were removed from the kidney of a 20-year-old woman in Taiwan who used to hydrate herself only with beverages such as bubble tea, fruit juice, and alcoholic beverages for years instead of water.


Doctors in Bihar seen consuming alcohol at party; visuals go viral

The organising secretary of Bihar (Darbhanga) Pedicon, Dr Md Saleem Ahmed has now been booked after a video of the attending doctors drinking alcohol went viral on social media.

After the video of drinking in a dry state like Bihar went viral, Bihar Police launched a probe into the matter. As per news reports, the police not only raided the premises of Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), where the conference was held, but they have also commenced identifying the doctors from the video as part of the probe.

Vaginal exam without written consent: Stanley Medical College MD Radio suspended on allegations of sexual harassment by patient

Based on a complaint of sexual harassment by a patient, a postgraduate radiodiagnosis medico in Stanley Medical College and Hospital, was "suspended until completion inquiry" on Friday.

While treating the patient, who had a history of displaced intra-uterine device, the doctor allegedly conducted a vaginal examination for further diagnosis. However, preliminary inquiries revealed that the doctor had allegedly failed to obtain written consent before examining the said patient.
