Amid the NEET UG 2026 paper leak row, a doctors' body has written to the President of India, seeking the dissolution of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and its replacement with an independent statutory National Examination Authority created through an Act of Parliament.

In its representation dated July 21, 2026, the United Doctors Front (UDF), a national organisation representing doctors and medical students, sought major reforms in the country's medical entrance examination system
