Amid the row over the NEET UG 2026 paper leak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently said the government acted immediately after the examination leak came to light and promised strict action against those responsible.

Calling the NEET paper leak a "ghor paap" (grave sin), the Prime Minister said all those involved in the case had been arrested, and 13 accused were currently in custody.
