‘NEET Should Be Scrapped’, TVK Demands State Control Over Medical Education

Renewing demands to scrap the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) in the state, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay's party, Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam, (TVK) has said that the exam should be completely abolished.
Along with this, the party also demanded greater powers for states regarding medical education, emphasising that education should be transferred from the Concurrent List to the State List of the Constitution.
